Well I have nursed a cough for a couple of long days and have come down with Bronchitis :(
The doc put me on meds that are not compatible with nursing! Frustrating the household as I breastfeed exclusively. Baby does not take a bottle of formula she screams and momma gets a headache. SO I am still suffering as I did not start the meds and baby is happy. Awaiting the call from her Ped. so she can advise better than my doc!

Well we have a lot going on in the Dillon household and Lizzy will be 8 this Saturday.
As I said before I think we will take her to the Brooklyn Children Museum. She also wants to be able to spend the money she received from her birthday on special things for herself. Normally we ask her to save that money but I think this year we will let her do what she wants with it as long as it makes her happy.
We have so much organizing to get done too and I need to start that Monday morning so I can clean house so to speak. I was going through some tips on how to clean anything and found some great stuff. I will post soon.
Ahhh I took picture of the new wool slouchy tam yesterday and posted it to Etsy and its cool I will post a pic on the side with the flower for you all to see.
Until later, Baby needs a nap.

Well Normally our little one sweats terribly but I needed to get some things done today so I decided to just put on a onesie t-shirt and use her swaddle me. I really figured that being a 4 month old she would resist but she has been out like a light for over an hour already!!!
When she was a baby she did not like her swaddle me but now it seems to be good. Yes I said for now. We went for a walk before and she was a doll. She was spitting and making raspberries with her lips at the wind and laughing up a storm.
Lizzy is so excited to be 8 on Saturday. Brooklyn Children's Museum here we come. (PS its free every 2nd weekend of the month if you arrive before 11am)
Well I needed Photoshop but to pay the price they ask is crazy so I found a software that really is great and does almost all the same things as Photoshop. It is called GIMP 2. I am playing with it now and it seems great. I created a banner for Etsy and some other cool things.
If you need to alter stuff but do not want to buy a $699.00 product try it..

Hey all,
Bright and early wake up time and could not go back to sleep.
Lizzy wanted a french braid this morning at 5:35am so while doing it she cried all the way till the last bit of hair as she said its too tight and i have knots mom!!! Well funny because our children ask for something yet when we give it to them its an issue. Needless to say she was happy after because it looked great on her and her friends planned this french braid today LOL.
I am also reading The No Cry Sleep SOlution, so that the baby can learn to sleep longer and to sleep anywhere else but on me. I have been putting the book to use and it looks like its starting to work in certain areas. Today is a long back and forth day, I need to accomplish my lists and stuff.
Have a Great Day

What is whole living for a balanced life? Oh it is what the experts say!
here is what that means to me,
I believe that a balanced whole life begins with how you are as an individual in life and spiritually.
We all handle balance differently but for me balance is holding the baby, cooking for Lizzy and signing homework at the same time without making any mistakes LOL..
Any thoughts
Our little 4 month old fell asleep in her swing ( which is rare she is usually on me) and I had 3 slices of bread with butter and as soon as I passed her swing she was bright eyed and smiling at me...
Sound familiar anyone
i know it may sound weird but this is something we use so much in our cooking and always seem to run out of so for those who want to save money and plant your own garlic here it goes:
1. Break apart the garlic bulb. There should be between 4-7 cloves per bulb.
2. To yield the largest bulbs, pick out the largest cloves to plant. Leave the outer skins on and don't separate the cloves until you are ready to plant.
3. Plant the cloves root end down, pointed end up. Space them 6 to 8 inches apart.
4. Cover the cloves with 2 inches of soil, preferably soil with plenty of organic matter.
5. Add a 6-inch layer of mulch, which you'll leave on until harvesting.
6. Don't forget to label your garlic so you remember which variety you planted.
7. The garlic should emerge in the early spring. During the growing season, give it about 1 inch of water per week.
Ok so how many times do we hear what a Mom is supposed to do or what is the norm for us?
Hello there is no such thing. We are criticized for doing things "wrong" yet there is no wrong or right we all learn each time we give birth to a precious child. This is what my blog is about a real time mom telling real time things. Join me in this quest for us moms to tell things in real life as they happen and add to the tips and trick to get through our long day!
